Gene therapy and noninvasive gene delivery to the brain
2020 - current, currently recruiting at all levels
We are currently working on improving noninvasive gene delivery to the brain through focused-ultrasound BBB opening (FUS-BBBO). Current work will improve cost, safety, and transduction efficiency of the technique. Our work also includes viral vector engineering and pushing the boundaries of maximum volume that can be opened with FUS-BBBO. For an example application, see ATAC page.
